Don't Just Take Our Word for It—Hear from Our ALA Families!
"Arc has been an absolute God-send for McKayla. Before Arc she hated school. Public school and homeschool! She cried daily. She started in January of last year. On her first day, she was a bit timid but by the second day, she had kids asking her to come play. Now, she always wants to get there early so that she can play with her friends. And she never wants to leave at the end of the day. McKayla is so eager to come home and tell us all the things she is learning. I never knew she would love nonfiction so much. She is absolutely thriving there and we couldn’t be more thankful that she is surrounded by such caring, kind, loving, and like-minded kids and teachers!"

"ALA is hands down the best school I’ve encountered for families that want the ‘experience’ of school but still want to do homeschool. We love the teachers so much, they truly care for the students and want to see them succeed. Our son is ADHD and has a hard time focusing in things and the teachers help him in so many ways. They push him in ways that he needs to be pushed and they encourage him in his strengths. We love that they always involve the word in the school curriculum because it continues to nurture the faith we have already established in him. Thank you teachers and PJ for being such amazing people!"

"Arc has been such a blessing to me. Unlike public school, we get to talk about God and not get made fun of for it. Each week I look forward to it. All of the teachers are very nice and they also love God. At the beginning of each new week, we get to sit in what’s called a prayer circle and we share what we did that weekend and prayer requests. I LOVE ALA."

"ALA has been such a blessing for our family. Our son struggled in public school with anxiety, bullying, and a system intent only on high test scores. After just a couple of weeks at ALA we could see his confidence and self-worth improving as his anxiety decreased. He now asks to go to school and is finding a love for learning again. We have since pulled our daughter from public school to be at ALA also. We love that our children can learn in a stress-free environment while also strengthening their faith. We cannot say enough positive things about ALA."

"As a homeschooling mama, I was heartbroken when my kids expressed the desire to go to school. My 7 year old son was not enjoying learning, particularly reading/phonics, and after trying a few different curriculums, I agreed to find a school to save his love for learning and our relationship. I didn’t want learning to feel like pulling teeth day in and day out, but I also had high expectations and several “boxes” I wanted checked for whatever school we landed at. We talked to and toured several other private schools and hybrid options. Something still wasn’t sitting right in my soul. I spent many nights awake praying for the Lords guidance and for Him to show me where we were meant to be. After reaching out to the Arc and messaging with them, we were excited to take a tour. After meeting with and talking to Mrs. Dawn and Mrs. Amber, we knew this is where we were supposed to be. The Arc checks every box and more. It’s exactly what I spent many nights awake praying for. Both kids are absolutely thriving. My son LOVES learning and can now read!! We’re forever thankful for the teachers at the Arc and the way they love and truly care for each and every student there! It really feels like family."

"ALA has been a huge blessing for our family. I spent many nights praying and feeling unsettled about what we would do for school. When I came to tour Arc, there was an overwhelming peace that I felt. The teachers are amazing. They are praying with and for our children daily. They are teaching them responsibility, but also allowing them to be kids. Not only is my son learning and excelling in his classes, but he is growing in his faith. We are also grateful for PJ for making sure our children are safe throughout the day. We couldn’t ask for a better school experience and cannot recommend it enough to other families."
